INGREDIENTS LIST

BLINTZES

4 eggs

1 cup flour (self raising or plain with ½ tsp baking powder)

1 cup milk (any kind)

2 tblsp oil

¼ cup sugar or honey

Optional: 2 tblsp wheat germ or bran

Spray oil/butter/oil

2 cups soft cheese (cottage or cream cheese)

Icing sugar (1/4 – ½ cup, to taste)

1 tsp vanilla

1 lemon zest (optional)

Mixing bowl, whisk, frying pan, spatula

 

PESTO

100g pine nuts or cashews

60g fresh basil leaves

30g fresh parsley

2 tblsp olive oil

2 tblsp lemon juice

2 cloves garlic

salt/pepper to taste

Parmesan

Stick blender/food processor/pestle and mortar

 

CHEESECAKE

2.5lbs cream cheese at room temperature

1 ¾ cups castor sugar

3 tblsp all purpose flour

Zest 1 lemon

Zest 1 orange

¼ tsp vanilla extract

5 eggs

2 additional egg yolks

¼ cup whipping cream

9 inch springform pan lined generously with butter and patted with graham cracker crumbs or 3 ready made graham cracker pie crusts

Mixing bowl and spoon or beaters

 

NO BAKE CHEESECAKE

2 packs (36) petit beurre biscuits

100gr butter or margarine

100gr sugar

2 tblsp cocoa

2 tblsp water

1 tsp coffee

75gr margarine

Mixing bowl, spoon, small bowl, silver foil

 

GARLIC KNOTS

Half a batch of challah dough made with 5lbs of flour

12 garlic cloves finely chopped

1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley or ½ tblsp dried parsley

¼ cup extra virgin olive oil or melted butter

1 tsp kosher salt

1 egg
